In times like this, with Dread Forum down

It makes you think (or at least, it makes myself think) of what would happen if Dread goes down for good? Where would people go as a central hub for getting information on Dark Web stuff, DNM status, and all related topics? What would an alternative, such as this forum itself, have to bring on the table in order to be considered a potential replacement to Dread?

That's a good question
I don't think forums like this will ever replace Dread, just because they're mainly markets, so kinda risky
I think if Dread shuts down, there'll just be another market, something else
But yeah, it would be a big loss for the deep web, markets and all, and Dread is so big and well known that casual users who only check the deep web every 6 months will take a while to find the "new Dread"

I don't think people will spread out on a bunch of forums, I think there'll be a new central "safe" place instead, like a new Reddit for the dark web or something, 'cause that kind of thing really works good

There was another darknet forum called the hub before, but I am not sure if they are around anymore.

I've not been active at Dread because honestly I find it a bit confusing, but I'd prefer this forum here on Catharsis. I'd like to see a few more categories/sub-forums for debate and discussions, otherwise the functionality is good enough with some room for improvement but I'd take it as it is. Seems this site is actively being developed, which is great!

Yeah, I agree (Dread is back, by the way), this forum and the rest of the DNM functionality seems to keep evolving, which is a good thing.
